Coyote Hills Regional Park

Located along the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay and northwest of the cities of Fremont and Newark lies the 978 acres of Coyote Hills Regional Park. Known for it's marshes and wildlife, this location is a hotspot for hiking, jogging, bicycling, bird watching, nature exploration, and picnicking and is beautiful for all seasons of the year. Because of it's breathtaking views, golden hour and blue hour are best to fully capture the diverse landscape!

ACCESSIBILITY
Mild walk into the park along a dirt path.
RESTROOMS
There are available restrooms in the parking lot and visitor center.
PETS
Dog friendly, but must be kept on a leash at all times.
DOWNSIDES
It can take about 5-7 minutes to drive to the first parking lot after the entrance, so be sure to plan on arriving early for your session. It's a popular hotspot for all sorts of activities and may get very crowded on the weekends. We don't recommend mid-afternoon sessions for this location because there is limited shade due to the wide, open space.
