Gamble Garden is a beautiful little haven off of the Embarcadero Rd. in Palo Alto, nestled in a quiet little neighborhood with towering trees that provide partial shade throughout the day. The gardens are tended throughout the year and seasonal flowers add color to the location.
The park not only boasts gorgeous displays of roses, mums, and hydrangeas (when in season), but also has a delightful gazebo and historical house that add a charming element.
PARKING
The parking lot has limited space but there is plenty of parking off of Waverly St.
We would meet you near the white gazebo which is near the Waverly St. parking lot entrance.
FEES
There are no entrance fees.
ACCESSIBILITY
This park has many smooth paths woven throughout the garden.
Restrooms, located behind the historical house, are available unless there is an event.
PETS
Pets are allowed at this location! There are squirrels and birds so be sure to keep a leash for your fur baby.
DOWNSIDES
This is a hotspot for many photographers and it can get a bit crowded.
The location also hosts weddings and events which can block off portions of the garden.
Sprinklers! We adjust to the ways of the garden and if the sprinklers are on, we find other spots to get photos.
