You may be seeing double but don't worry, it's because it's an extension of a shoot we did previously! This family wanted both sides of their families together in a photo but the calendar didn't allow it with warring schedules (and crazy weather!) so we ended up breaking it into two sessions.
We were excited to shoot at the Arizona Cactus Garden because we knew these colors work so well against the cactus green backdrop. We didn't want to have to reschedule due to rain so we were religiously looking at our multiple weather apps and checking the weather radar to make sure we wouldn't get rained out (as some family came from out of town just for this photoshoot!).
Sure enough, the clouds got darker and there was mist in the air. BUT WE PREVAILED! Praying continuously the whole day as we do before every shoot, we just kept asking the Lord, "Please, please hold the weather!" And He did! The rain held, and yes, there were some grey clouds BUT because of the light sand/gravel of the garden, it provided a great reflector for natural light.
We're so glad it worked out because - COME ON! - how awesome are these cute photos??
