THE COUPLE
Susana and Jose are a truly genuine couple who are so in love with each other and the Lord. They hold so much joy and affection for others and you can tell they impact everyone around them with their light.
THE RENEWAL
Underneath the towering trees at Sanborn County Park, the vow renewal location in the Peterson Grove was a beautiful, intimate spot for their touching renewal.
BEFORE THE CEREMONY
A First Look is an awesome way to get most of your couple portraits done early, so you have more time to enjoy the reception. This particular First Look was one of the most touching and emotional ones we've seen. Even after being married for ten years, their faces showed all the emotion of the many ups and downs that came with those years. They ended their time in prayer before we started their couple portraits. The bride's vibrant and colorful bouquet really stood out beautifully against the lush forest greens and browns.
THE CEREMONY
As we gathered under the cathedral grove on the ceremony deck, the guests stood in a circle and awaited the arrival of the bride surrounded with beautiful worship music. There was not a dry eye as the bride and groom held hands and worshipped the Lord together. Their story is truly inspiring, and they invited a few guests to share some encouraging words as they stepped into this new chapter of their marriage. They had communion, and exchanged heartfelt, handwritten vows with a Spanish interpreter.
COUPLE PORTRAITS
We grabbed the bride and groom for a quick post-renewal photo session and we're so glad we did! The light was shining through the gorgeous tree-lined path that gave off a beautiful golden glow that matched their radiant faces!
THE RECEPTION
Susana and Jose were so intentional about connecting with each of their guests going table to table as well as capturing portraits with each grouping. They gave a beautiful speech and had an array of yummy foods for their outdoor camp picnic reception. Such a beautiful and sweet renewal that we were so blessed to be a part of !
