Rockaway Beach in Pacifica is a new discovery that we have loved using for our various photo sessions! The rock cliffs provide shade that we can be at the beach taking photos for longer than just golden hour. We love seeing this family and what they will put their little girls in next - their dresses each year are just SO CUTE! And their curls - cute cute cute! They brought their dog with them this time around and Rockaway Beach was a good option as it was a more enclosed beach with not too many people in it. It was a little overcast and chilly but the family were such troopers walking on the beach with bare feet - something we always recommend because shoes on the beach just look weird, haha! Their blue and cream outfits worked so well with ocean hues.
Rockaway Beach in Pacifica has become a new favorite spot for our photo sessions! The rock cliffs provide shade, allowing us to take photos at the beach for longer than just during golden hour (and blue hour!). We love seeing this family and what adorable outfits they choose for their little girls each year—their dresses are always SO CUTE! And those curls—just adorable! This time, they brought their dog along, and Rockaway Beach was a great choice since it's more enclosed and not too crowded. It was a bit overcast and chilly, but the family bravely walked on the beach barefoot and even put their toes in the water! We always recommend being barefoot on the beach because shoes just look out of place, haha! Their blue and cream outfits complemented the ocean hues beautifully.
