We love trying out new locations! When our client mentioned Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, we couldn't wait to try it out! One of the things that stood out to them in choosing us as their photographers was that we were a sister duo team which they loved as they were close sisters as well!
It was a chilly post-Christmas afternoon, but the sun finally came out after a rainy holiday week, so the park was packed with people walking, having picnics, and just soaking in the beautiful scenery.
This family came from all over - southern California, the east coast, and the Bay Area, and it was awesome to see them all together having a great time.
We started out on the dock - it was a bit slippery, so we had to watch our step - and got some breathtaking lake views. The outfit colors of rust/red, burgundy, and pinks, gave all the warm winter vibes.
There was a beautiful tree lined path of colorful leaves that caught the light just right, where we ended our session. It was an awesome photoshoot to end the year with!
