To say that we couldn't stop smiling over this wedding would be an understatement! We hadn't met Lara and Max until our first initial meeting and we knew right away this would be a sweet wedding!

 

HOW THIER LOVE STORY BEGAN

Lara grew up in Santa Cruz and Max came from a small little village in Germany, making the trek over for business in the Silicon Valley. In January of 2016, they met online and hit it off right away. They visited Max's family in Germany where Lara met the whole village and soon got engaged in May 2017.

 

THEIR WEDDING DAY

The day started with the beautiful drive to Santa Cruz with perfect, sunny weather! When we arrived at the location, we realized it would be pretty windy! (But we love wind, so win-win!) We met on the top of the cliff for an intimate ceremony where Lara and her parents walked down the path with Max looking on with such love and adoration in his eyes. Lara's good friend officiated the ceremony while they were surrounded by close friends and family members (some traveling as far as Germany for this occasion!) It was such a beautiful, scenic location with seagulls crying and waves crashing below us. (We're down for any excuse to go to the beach!)

 

The sun began it's descent as we started the Bride and Groom photos adding a majestic halo to the delightful couple. We made the trek down (was NOT easy - but Lara and Max made it look like a walk-in-the-park!) to the beach and began our couple shots! Shark Fin Cove is known for it's secluded beach and well-known landmark - a rock-shaped shark fin.

 

With the waves crashing along the shore and the sun setting on the horizon, we could not stop telling the happy couple how excited we were over their photos! This was by-far one of our favorite weddings and we couldn't be more elated with how they turned out! Lara and Max are a delight to be around and you can so evidently see how much they love each other.
